Rishil Jacob Cheevelil is a highly experienced Data Science and Analytics Manager with over a decade of experience in the field. Currently, he is working at Walmart eCommerce as an Analytics Manager for the Trust and Safety team. Rishil is responsible for building analytics architecture on Google Cloud Platform to perform analytics and data science for Walmart US and Walmart International eCommerce. He is also involved in building machine learning and deep learning models to proactively mitigate customer and public relations issues under compliance, offensive, or intellectual property reasons for Walmart eCommerce. Rishil has previously worked as a Senior Analyst at Walmart, where he developed image and textual machine learning models to detect offensive, compliance, and intellectual property issues using Google Cloud AI and Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services. He also built predictive and static models, data pipelines, and dashboards for Escalations Prediction through social media and other media channels. Rishil has extensive experience in end-to-end analysis and engineering, statistical thresholding, and developing ETL and workflow for Trust and Safety Seller Performance and Seller Escalation. Before joining Walmart, Rishil worked as a Programmer Analyst at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he was part of the Clinical Pathways team. He used Python, PHP, MS SQL Server, HL7, Oracle SQL, Advanced Excel, and Tableau to develop clinical pathways for cancer patients. Rishil holds a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from the University at Buffalo School of Management, the State University of New York. He also has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a Secondary High School degree in Engineering from Army School Ranchi.
